About the Role
Dominisii Manufacturing and Raisa Studio Apparel and Design are seeking 2 experienced Sample Makers/Production Sewers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys garment construction, working with a variety of fabrics, and takes pride in producing high-quality samples and finished garments.
We are seeking individuals who can work independently, follow directions, solve construction challenges, and maintain professional sewing and quality standards in a fast-paced studio environment.
Responsibilities
Construct garment samples from patterns, specifications, and technical instructions
Perform professional garment sewing, assembly, and finishing
Sew woven and knit fabrics with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Assist with sample development, fit corrections, and construction improvements
Execute pattern adjustments and sewing modifications as directed
Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstations
Meet production and sample deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Communicate construction concerns, recommendations, and solutions with the design team
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 5 years of professional sewing experience
Intermediate to advanced garment construction skills
Experience operating industrial sewing equipment
Ability to read patterns, sewing instructions, and technical specifications
Strong understanding of garment finishing and quality standards
Ability to sew accurately with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred:
Sample-making experience
Patternmaking knowledge
Experience sewing pants, dresses, sportswear, athletic wear, uniforms, and multi-styles (tops and bottoms) and production garments
Familiarity with apparel manufacturing or industrial production environments
