Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front of the House Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Supervise all front-of-house staff, including bartenders, servers, and hosts, fostering a positive team environment through effective training and mentorship
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring adherence to service standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimize service efficiency during peak hours
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied with their experience
- Maintain inventory control for bar supplies, beverages, and food items; coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST POS and accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Monitor sales performance, analyze profit and loss reports, and implement strategies to maximize revenue while controlling costs
- Train staff on food preparation techniques related to bar service, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Enforce compliance with health regulations, alcohol licensing laws, and safety standards in all aspects of bar management
- Lead shift management activities including scheduling staff shifts, overseeing food production processes in the kitchen area when needed, and supervising team performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in bar or casual dining settings
- Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the hospitality industry; previous assistant manager roles are highly valued
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as toast POS and along with cash handling expertise
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and food handling procedures in a restaurant setting : Serve safe certification
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with managerial communication abilities to lead teams confidently
- Ability to manage inventory control processes efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Basic math skills for cash reconciliation, budgeting tasks, and profit analysis
- Experience in managing hospitality teams within fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques related to bar service including cooking methods relevant to beverage accompaniments or light food offerings
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
