Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance on safety procedures, operational tasks, and performance expectations.
- Oversee inventory control processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400 to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate efficient distribution.
- Coordinate warehouse distribution efforts, optimizing workflows to improve productivity and reduce turnaround times.
- Implement process improvements related to logistics, materials handling, heavy lifting techniques, and overall warehouse management to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols across all warehouse operations.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities, including documentation accuracy and coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
- Operate forklifts and mechanical equipment safely for materials handling and stock movement as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels using best practices for inventory management and control.
- Support e-commerce fulfillment processes by maintaining high accuracy levels in order processing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or equivalent WMS platforms.
- Demonstrated ability in logistics coordination, process improvement, and team management within a fast-paced environment.
- Valid forklift certification along with mechanical knowledge for safe operation of heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation.
- Experience working with 3PL providers and managing warehouse distribution channels.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate across departments.
