Salary Rate: $120,000 - $160,000
A well-established, employee-owned GC is searching for an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to support complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Southwest and Western United States. This role is ideal for a field leader who thrives in a technical, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, mission-critical public works projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily mechanical field operations, including installation of pumps, valves, process piping, and mechanical equipment.

Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.

Interpret drawings, P&IDs, and specifications with a high level of technical accuracy.

Oversee equipment setting, alignment, testing, and commissioning.

Manage manpower planning, daily reporting, and field documentation.

Enforce a strong safety culture through job hazard analyses, toolbox talks, and site inspections.

Support planning, sequencing, and constructability reviews for upcoming work phases.

Maintain professional communication with owners, engineers, and field teams.
Qualifications

5+ years of mechanical construction experience in water/wastewater treatment, industrial process facilities, or heavy civil mechanical systems.

Proven success as a Mechanical Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of pumps, process piping, rigging, alignment, and mechanical equipment installation.

Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents.

OSHA 30 preferred; strong commitment to safety required.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
