DAYTIME FACILITY MONITOR
Move Mountain View is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides Safe Parking and Case Management for clients transitioning to housing. We serve approximately 190 vehicle dwellers on 8 safe parking lots in Mountain View and Palo Alto. We seek a person with a demonstrated dedication to serving with our neighbors who are poor and housing insecure.
OVERVIEW: The Daytime Facility Monitor will monitor the Safe Parking Lot in Mountain View. This site has 24/7 RV access for enrolled clients.
This staff person will take care of the various program needs at that location, including: Distributing and collecting batteries, LEL meters, other equipment and water.
Review and monitor camera, and perform light janitorial work.
This staff person will also monitor conditions on the lot for the safety of the enrolled clients, including:
Monitors will be trained in lot safety protocol, in the effort to keep the facility safe for clients.
This position reports to the Operations Manager, who will determine other responsibilities or tasks for the Daytime Facility Monitor.
Additional Requirements may be added or subject to change at the direction of the organization’s Program Coordinator.

Salary: $28 - $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4 PM

REQUIREMENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION:
Work in a team environment for the service of the program clients.
Interact with clients with care and clarity.
Create and maintain Incident Logs for use by Operations Manager
Exercise sound judgment in unexpected situations.
Able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
Basic office computer skills required i.e. Excel, Word, Google Sheets/Docs, etc. Understand and follow established policies and procedures.
Communicate clearly in writing and speech.
Valid California driving license and clean driving record.
Operational vehicle, registered and fully insured.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Work experience in relevant areas (ie. Working with the poor, community volunteering, etc.)
English/Spanish Bilingual speaker preferred
