Rahway's BEST After School Program & Summer Camp is looking for enthusiastic coaches and instructors who are passionate about helping children build confidence, learn new skills, and develop healthy habits through sports, fitness, leadership, and enrichment activities.
Whether your background is in athletics, martial arts, dance, education, or youth development, this is an opportunity to turn your passion into a rewarding career while becoming part of an amazing team.
We're Looking for Coaches with Experience in One or More of the Following:
- Martial Arts / Tae Kwon Do
- Basketball
- Baseball
- Football
- Dance
- Yoga
- Physical Education (P.E.)
- Arts & Crafts
- Peer Leadership & Character Development
- Children's Fitness & Recreational Games
No two days are ever the same! You'll lead exciting activities, mentor children, encourage teamwork, and help create unforgettable experiences in a fun, positive environment.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in sports, fitness, martial arts, dance, education, childcare, or youth programs is preferred
- Reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Drug-free and tobacco-free workplace
- Positive attitude with a passion for working with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must have access to a smartphone or computer for scheduling and email communication
- Must be available to work at least one Saturday per month and attend our eight major annual events
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time
- Approximately 20–30 hours per week (depending on the season)
- $16–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
