Quality Patient Centered Services (QPCS) is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to support individuals receiving care at the Selinsgrove State Centre, operated by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).

Available shifts:
- 3RD Shift: 10:00PM-06:15AM
Choose the Pay Structure That Works for You
- Tier 1 – W-2 with benefits: $27 per hour
- Tier 2 – W-2 without benefits: $29 per hour
- 1099 independent contractor: $32 per hour
Important 1099 Notice: Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and other applicable obligations.
What You’ll Do
As a CNA, you will provide essential hands-on care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting individuals with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and other daily living activities
- Providing compassionate care to ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Documenting services accurately in the electronic medical record
- Encouraging participation in prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities
- Helping maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living quarters
- Observing individuals and promptly reporting changes or concerns
- Promoting dignity, independence, safety, and respect
- Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Participating in required on-the-job, in-service, and formal training
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:
- Six months of experience as an Aide Trainee; or
- One year of paid experience caring for and treating geriatric or physically ill patients or residents
Candidates must also:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Hold an active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide certification and registration through the Pennsylvania Department of Health
- Be proficient in written and spoken English
- Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Be able to provide verifiable education, training, and employment history
- Be able to perform routine physical duties and remain standing for extended periods
- Demonstrate strong communication, reliability, compassion, and teamwork
Additional training and screening may be required.
