As a caregiver with FirstLight Home Care, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life through compassionate, personalized care.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Preparing and serving meals
- Assisting with heavy transfers and mobility support
- Understanding and safely operating a Sara Steady
- Supporting clients with dementia and memory care needs
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and personal care
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Running errands, shopping, and providing transportation
- Completing other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Passion for helping others and providing quality care
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient demeanor
- Commitment to being present, attentive, and reliable
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to manage the physical and emotional demands of caregiving
