JOB
The individual is to perform a variety of duties to repair and maintain city infrastructure including sewer, water, streets, storm drainage, cemetery, parks, recreational fields, building facilities, and landfill operations. Tasks may include but no limited to litter and garbage pickup, shoveling, snow plowing and ice removal, sanding, asphalt repair, pothole patching, sweeping, graveling, concrete placement, installing and reading meters, water and sewer line repair and installation, mowing, weed eating, trimming trees, raking, painting and cleaning.
Other requirements include: Manual labor and heavy lifting. Operating power tools, passinger vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment. Applicant must be a minimum of 21 years old. Have a High School diploma or equivalent, a Class B CDL (or the ability ot obtain wihtin 6 months of hire).
This is a full-time position 40/hr per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on-call as required.
