Blanchard Construction Company / Blanchard Controls Service is a growing, business based in Covington, Louisiana. We specialize in commercial construction, electrical contracting, and control systems. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial and light industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform conduit and wiring installations, including underground duct banks
- Install switchgear, controls, low- and medium-voltage systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Install electrical components including switches, outlets, lighting, and circuit breakers
- Test and verify proper functionality of electrical systems
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent field experience
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, electrical theory, and controls
- Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (preferred)

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
Work Location:
In-person – Covington, LA (reliable commute or willingness to relocate required)
