Sharp Tool is seeking a Processor to join our growing team. The Processor is responsible for supporting project and production workflows by managing data entry, documentation, and system updates throughout the lifecycle of a job. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of job information, customer requirements, and production data within ERP and related systems.
The Processor plays a critical role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting project execution, and ensuring alignment between sales, engineering, production, and quality teams.

Shift: First Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Project & Job Processing
- Enter and maintain job data in ERP systems, including job creation, updates, and closeout
- Process customer orders, job releases, and internal documentation accurately and timely
- Ensure all job data (routing, BOMs, timelines, requirements) is correctly entered and maintained
- Track job progress and update system status throughout the project lifecycle
- Support transition of jobs from quote to production to completion
Documentation & Customer Requirements
- Maintain and organize job documentation including prints, revisions, certifications, and customer requirements
- Ensure proper flow-down of customer requirements into production documentation
- Maintain traceability of documentation in accordance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
- Support document control processes and revision management
- Assist with preparation of job packets and production travelers
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, purchasing, and production teams
- Communicate job status, changes, and discrepancies across departments
- Support coordination of job releases, updates, and scheduling adjustments
- Identify and escalate issues related to missing or incorrect job information
Quality, Compliance & System Accuracy
- Ensure all processing activities comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements
- Follow ITAR regulations when handling controlled job data and documentation
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of ERP and system data
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to documentation and job records
- Report and correct inconsistencies or errors in system data
Administrative & Operational Support
- Generate reports related to job status, production progress, and system data
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Assist with continuous improvement of ERP processes and workflows
- Support administrative tasks related to operations and project management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Global Shop, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of manufacturing workflows and project-based environments
- Familiarity with aerospace/automotive standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of ITAR compliance and data handling requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, operations, or related field preferred
- 1–3+ years of experience in administrative, operations, or manufacturing support roles preferred
- Experience working in ERP systems and handling production data preferred
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and workflows a plus
- Ability to develop proficiency in project processing and system management
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, it is required that the candidate must be a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs if required
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, balance, rotate trunk, and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in a manufacturing floor environment, often involving exposure to noise, machine oils, chemicals, and sharp tooling
