Certified Medication Technician (CMT) and Caregiver - Part Time
Job Summary:
Ridgeway Rehab Center, a 61-bed skilled nursing facility in Catonsville, Maryland, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CMT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications, monitoring reactions, and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents as ordered by physicians
Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report any issues to the nursing team
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident responses
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Medication Technician in Maryland
1 year of experience required
Prior caregiving experience is essential (this is not a med pass only position)
