Dynamic Production Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Microphone Technician for our Dynamic Team responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing Dynamic Series microphones to ensure they meet our quality standards and specifications.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Assemble Dynamic product series microphone components and subassemblies using hand tools, soldering irons, wiring components, and other equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements, communicate issues identified to Team Lead.
- Test microphones to verify proper functionality and performance characteristics.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with malfunctioning Diamond product series microphones and perform repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all production status, testing, repairs, and inventory transactions.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to continuously improve product quality and performance.
What You Bring
Education, Certifications and/or Licenses
- High school diploma required. Associates degree or technical certification in electronics, audio engineering or related field preferred.
Experience
- Less than 1 year of experience working with microphones or audio equipment in a professional setting.
Knowledge/Skills
- Familiarity with electronic components, assembly techniques, and audio testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and audio analyzers.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, technical schematics, and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment.
- Strong technical skills, including soldering, wiring, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of microphone design principles and acoustics.
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems including MRP Software (Fishbowl).
- Working knowledge of Audio Precision Testing Software (APX).
- Must be results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced environment and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
