We are seeking an dependable Shop Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicle including goose neck trailer to transport goods to our instate and out of state customers’ locations.
- Travel short and long distances with nightly hotel stays.
- Load and unload products using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklift equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Follow routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with commercial truck driving regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products courteously, answering questions, and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate e-log and route documentation during each shift.
- Maintain delivery truck, i.e., oil changes, tire replacement, keeping truck in a clean presentable condition, etc.
- Maintain and balance company credit card statements for hotel stays.
Experience
- Prior experience in delivery driving or courier roles is highly preferred.
- Commercial CDL w/ Class "A" endorsement required.
- Proven ability to load & unload cargo safely while following manual handling protocols.
- Familiarity with commercial driving, including goose neck trailer, pre and post trip inspections is essential.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, e-log requirements, weight handling, strapping and tarping of loads.
- Experience with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems enhances efficiency.
- Basic Computer Skills, Excel, Word, Email, etc.,
- Strong customer service skills combined with a responsible attitude towards adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
