Responsibilities
- Intake patients in which you will document vital signs andperform a variety of tests.
- Room patients efficiently and professionally
- Occasionally take x-rays
- Enter orders accurately into the electronic medical record
- Coordinate imaging, laboratory testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments
- Obtain and track medical clearances for surgeries and procedures
- Communicate with hospitals, surgery centers, and referring providers
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure instructions
- Respond to patient messages and phone calls in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
- Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and prepared for patients
- Work closely with physicians, physician assistants, and the clinical team to provide seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Previous MA experience in a specialty clinic preferred
- Neurosurgery or spine experience is a plus
- Strong computer skills and EMR experience (Intergy experience is a bonus)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
