We're looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is dependable, motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about caring for animals and the people who love them.
What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in helping our doctors and technicians provide outstanding care. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting doctors and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Safely restraining dogs and cats for exams and procedures
- Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments
- Assisting with surgery preparation and patient recovery
- Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic support as trained
- Taking patient histories and recording medical information
- Filling medications and preparing prescriptions
- Educating clients on preventive care and treatment plans
- Helping maintain hospital cleanliness and organization
- Working as part of a collaborative team to provide an exceptional client experience
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who:
- Has a genuine love for animals and their people
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Is dependable, positive, and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Is eager to learn and grow professionally
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals of various sizes
- Previous veterinary experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.

- Some evenings/ on call is required
- Rotating Saturdays
