Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer / Setup to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs that drive precision machining operations. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality components with efficiency and accuracy, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machining centers, including CNC milling machines (Haas, Okuma, Miyano) or CNC lathes / Swiss (Tsugami, Miyano, Okuma, Haas) utilizing FUSION 360 or Other CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.
- Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure precise machining specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC equipment, including CNC Lathes, CNC Mills or CNC Swiss. Also, must be able to use, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures based on detailed analysis of geometry, material properties, and manufacturing requirements.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, adjusting programs as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and inspection reports for quality control purposes.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code.
- Strong knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing parts and fixtures.
- Experience with CAM programming tools to generate efficient toolpaths for CNC milling machines and lathes.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with an understanding of machining processes including geometry calculations and tooling selection.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and manufacturing drawings to interpret specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges.
- Strong math skills necessary for precise calculations related to geometry, dimensions, and tolerances.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
