OnTrack Driving School is looking for a patient, professional, and dependable Driving Instructor to join our growing team in Trenton, NJ.

Responsibilities
- Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction to student drivers.
- Teach safe driving habits and defensive driving techniques.
- Help students prepare for the New Jersey road test.
- Maintain a calm, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
- Communicate clearly with students of different ages and experience levels.
- Keep accurate records of lessons and student progress.
- Applicants should meet, or be eligible to meet, the requirements to become a New Jersey Driving Instructor.
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid New Jersey driver's license held for at least 5 years
- Clean driving record
- Excellent driving skills
- Patient, calm, and encouraging personality (patience is essential)
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Pass all background and driving record requirements required by the New Jersey MVC
- Eligible to obtain a New Jersey Driving Instructor License (or already licensed)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Previous experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or working with people
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
