Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Quality Control Technician to join our construction team. Duties
- Perform construction site inspections to monitor concrete placement, curing, and finishing processes.
- Collect and analyze data related to concrete properties, documenting results accurately using digital tools such as Microsoft Office.
- Ensure adherence to American Concrete Institute (ACI) Standards, ASTM standards, and AASHTO standards for concrete testing procedures.
- Inspect construction materials including soil, asphalt, masonry, and other related materials to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate findings clearly with project managers, clients, and contractors to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports on test results, inspection findings, and compliance documentation for project records.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of concrete properties, ASTM standards, ACI standards, and AASHTO standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data collection and report writing.
- Construction site experience with a focus on concrete testing, soil testing, asphalt testing, or masonry is desirable.
- Basic math skills and numeracy are essential for accurate measurements and analysis.
- Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Construction inspection or construction materials inspection experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction asphalt testing and construction soil testing procedures is advantageous.
