This is a part time position. Hours of operation are 7:30-5:30 Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Follow a full schedule of teaching and activities
- Use a wide range of teaching methods to enhance children's abilities
- Evaluate children’s performance to ensure they're meeting milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on the progress of their child
- Collaborate with colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience as a child care provider/teacher
- Excellent knowledge of child development & current education methods
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- To be responsible for all aspects of caring for & educating young children.
- Being aware of all safety/health issues related to caring for young children
- Hours of operation are 7:30-5:30 Monday through Friday.
MUST HAVE:
- High School Diploma
- Enhanced background check
- Must be enrolled in Idaho STARS within 30 days from date of hire.
- Current Pediatric first aid/CPR and Infant/Child CPR.
- Strong communication skills through written, verbal and digital means.
PREFERRED:
- CDA (Child Development Assoc. Degree). or education in related field.
- Experience &/or Empathy with persons living in poverty.
- Experience with Giraffe Laugh ELC & their values and mission.
- Experience with Quality Achievers program
