We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to read blueprints and plans. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential.
Pay Scale for this position is based on experience
Duties
- Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including framing, roofing, and siding.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Execute caulking tasks to ensure proper sealing of joints and gaps in structures.
- Engage in metal stud framing for commercial projects as needed.
- Installing Fixtures. Adding cabinets, shelves, drywall and insulation.
- Roofing. All phases of roofing
- Conduct mold remediation efforts to maintain safe living environments.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding construction plans is essential.
- Experience with siding installation and trim carpentry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mold remediation techniques is a plus but not required.
