American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Orange, CA, requiring chemotherapy certification and outpatient oncology experience.

Work in the Infusion unit of a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
-
Patient caseload is approximately 70% oncology-based therapy and 30% blood transfusions, IVIG, hydration, and iron infusions
-
Patient ratio is 1:4
-
Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), with no weekend requirements
-
No on-call requirements

Floating between like units and across facilities within the state is required

Charting is done in Epic (experience required)

Free parking available on-site

Active CA RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted

Current certifications required: BLS and Chemotherapy (Chemo Cert)

Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred; 2+ years required for first-time travelers

Outpatient oncology (OP Onc) experience required

Epic EMR experience required

2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply with a valid Chemo Cert and 2+ years of experience

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates — candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

All RTO must be submitted at the time of profile consideration — scheduling requests due to additional employment will not be considered

Scheduling preferences may be accommodated at the manager's discretion but are not guaranteed

Royal blue scrubs are required for RNs

Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
