Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and process transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including laundry stations, dry cleaning equipment, and customer waiting areas
- Operate pressing machines to professionally press garments, ensuring high-quality results for customers’ clothing
- Assist with laundry services by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing garments efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries about dry cleaning or laundry services and resolving any issues promptly
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals or pressing equipment to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry processes is a plus
- Ability to operate pressing machines and maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
