About the Role
As an RN/LPN in Endocrinology at Quincy Medical Group, you will support patients with chronic and complex endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Working closely with endocrinology providers and care teams, you will assist with patient care, chronic disease management, medication coordination, and patient education. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys relationship-based care and helping patients manage long-term health conditions.

- Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Specialty clinic environment focused on chronic disease management and patient education.
Primary Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and visit information.

Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and clinical care activities.

Support diabetes management, including education, monitoring, and care coordination.

Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice.

Coordinate lab work, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care.

Communicate provider instructions, test results, and patient education materials.

Respond to patient messages, phone calls, and clinical inquiries.

Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.

Support chronic disease care planning and ongoing patient management.

Perform other duties as assigned to support endocrinology operations.
Qualifications

Current Illinois RN or LPN license required.

CPR certification required (available upon hire).

Previous experience in primary care, endocrinology, or chronic disease management preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialty clinic environment.

Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $18.66 - $27.99 per hour for LPNs and $25.00 - $37.50 per hour for RNs, with actual pay determined by licensure, experience, education, certifications, and internal equity, with additional compensation possible through incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
