The Role & Your Impact
We are seeking one (1) Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to serve a commercial property in South Florida.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that effective security is a collective effort—one that thrives on clear communication, mutual trust, and consistency within a team environment. The successful candidate will maintain a visible presence throughout the property, support a safe and secure environment, and contribute to the overall operational success of the site.
Success in this role requires reliability, professionalism, strong observation skills, and the ability to make sound decisions while working independently during overnight hours.
Core ResponsibilitiesPatrol Operations (Primary Function)
- Conduct continuous golf cart patrols throughout all assigned areas of the commercial property on an hourly basis
- Monitor for suspicious activity, security risks, safety hazards, and unauthorized activity
- Take appropriate action in accordance with site policies and post orders
- Maintain a strong and visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behavior
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations
- Observe and report maintenance concerns, safety issues, and operational deficiencies
- Immediately document and report irregularities, damages, incidents, or security concerns
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members, supervisors, and client representatives
Qualifications & Professional RequirementsRequired
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Minimum one (1) year of licensed security experience
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to write clear, accurate, and professional reports
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends and holidays when required
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
- Must pass criminal and role-relevant background screening
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States with valid documentation
Preferred
- Experience in rover patrol, access control, and incident documentation
- Experience operating golf carts or mobile patrol vehicles
- Currently enrolled in a technical program, vocational school, college, or university
- Interest in law enforcement, public safety, criminal justice, or federal service careers

- $16.00 per hour
- All training paid at the full hourly rate
- Minimum of eight (8) paid hours of onboarding and site-specific training

Available Work ScheduleFull-Time Overnight Schedule
- Sunday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Monday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Tuesday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Wednesday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Thursday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
- Off: Friday and Saturday
This schedule supports overnight security operations and requires strong reliability, independent decision-making, and consistent patrol execution.

To ensure operational consistency and effective team integration, time off during the initial 90-day period is limited.
Candidates with pre-planned life events, vacations, weddings, graduations, or other commitments are encouraged to discuss them during the interview process. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
