*Process Technicians in this position will make all necessary adjustments and minor repairs to production machines to accomplish optimum machine efficiency.
*They will assist / perform setups and changeovers of production equipment based on established standards based on the product being run.
*In addition, individuals in this position will perform minor maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
*The Manufacturing Process Technician position requires individuals to perform routine preventive maintenance and inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
*We are looking for one process tech on 2nd shift and one on 3rd shift as well. Starting pay is $25.65/hr. If on 2nd shift, you would also receive a $1.00/hr. shift premium and if on 3rd shift, you would receive a $2.00/hr. shift premium. Second shift hours are Mon - Fri from 2:45p to 11p. and 3rd shift hours are Sun - Thurs from 10:45p to 7a. Overtime is available and sometimes required.
N.E.W. Plastics is a family owned manufacturing plant headquartered in Luxemburg, WI with a smaller plant in Little Canada, MN that makes plastic bottles and containers.
This position requires industrial mechanical ability and good trouble shooting skills. Previous manufacturing experience is required.
