Job Description: Mid-Level Contract Administrator

Position Summary
The Mid-Level Contract Administrator is responsible for managing, reviewing, and administering contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements while supporting internal stakeholders in contract development, execution, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and amendments
Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate contract approvals and execution processes
Maintain contract records and documentation in contract management systems
Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and key deadlines (renewals, expirations, etc.)
Serve as a liaison between legal, procurement, finance, and operational teams
Identify and mitigate contractual risks
Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with vendors and clients
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with contract terms
Provide guidance to staff on contract policies and procedures
Work Environment
Office-based with potential for hybrid/remote flexibility
May require occasional cross-department collaboration meetings
May require occasional extended hours

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or related field
5 years of experience in contract administration or related role
Strong knowledge of contract law principles and procurement processes
Experience with contract management software/systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
Experience in government contracting or regulated industries
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., FAR, HIPAA, or similar regulations)
Certification such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contract Manager)
