Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) – Urgent Locum / Travel

Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Locum Tenens (Perm potential)
Compensation: $4,900 – $5,600+ / week gross (Includes tax-free stipends for travelers)
Position Overview
Palm Health Resources is seeking an autonomous Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) for an urgent, high-acuity locum assignment at a premier academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center in St. Louis.

Clinical Scope & Advanced Caseload
Candidates must be completely independent in high-complexity cases, including:
- Complex CVOR: High-volume adult CABG/valves, aortic dissections, and Total Aortic Arch/Hemi-Arch work (Aortic Lines x4+). Managing high-risk patients (ESRD, low EF, heart failure).
- Advanced Support: Heavy ECMO (VA/VV initiation & management), Impella, IABP, and LVAD/RVAD insertions.
- Specialty Procedures: Liver Transplants (VV Bypass), HIPEC, AngioVac, TAVR standbys, Cell Saver, and PRP.
Schedule, Call & Requirements
- Shifts & Start: Full-time hours. Starting ASAP / upon credentialing.
- Call Rotation: Shared nights/weekends/holidays for trauma and emergency ECMO. Call frequency is flexible and will be discussed directly with the department director during interviews.
- Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program; ABCP Certified (sharp new grads board-eligible within 1 year considered); active Missouri license (or immediate eligibility); active BLS/ACLS.
