Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and online instruction for phlebotomy and clinical medical assistant courses, utilizing various teaching methods and educational technology platforms.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, incorporating hands-on training, demonstrations, and assessments.
- Supervise students during practical skills labs, ensuring safe and effective techniques in blood collection, specimen handling, patient care, and clinical procedures.
- Provide clear guidance on certification requirements such as CPR and First Aid, preparing students for real-world healthcare environments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, practical assessments, and feedback sessions; maintain detailed records of progress and attendance.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement, questions, and professional growth.
- Stay current with industry standards, updates in medical procedures, and online training best practices to continually enhance instructional quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a phlebotomist or clinical medical assistant with active certification(s) in relevant fields.
- Prior teaching experience, especially in online instruction or using online training platforms, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and other emergency response protocols required for healthcare training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to teach diverse student populations including young learners; experience working with students is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Technical proficiency with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and online learning management systems.
- Previous university or higher education teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Passion for education combined with a proactive attitude to motivate students toward success.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
