Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized support and assistance to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in diverse settings, including community and in-home care environments working with individuals with disabilties. This role requires a strong commitment to individual well-being, safety, and comfort, ensuring high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, changing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications and nutrition, assist with contact lens removal, and facilitate wheelchair transfer.
- Monitor health status as directed by healthcare providers.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to medical professionals promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with various healthcare settings such as:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Hands on Healthcare experience.
- CPR + First Aid certified
- Completion of Required Training Modules (Zero Tolerance, Direct Core, HIPAA, ect.)
Prior experience working with specialized populations is a plus. Candidates with a background in providing excellent in-home care and experience working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued for this role. All applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of person-centered care principles across diverse community and in-home environments.
