Okome House is looking for dependable, hardworking servers who take their responsibilities seriously and genuinely care about doing a good job.
We are seeking people who take ownership of their work, maintain high standards even when no one is watching, and understand that great service requires more than completing the minimum assigned tasks. Strong team members notice what needs to be done, step in without always being asked, and help others when the restaurant needs it.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service
- Explain our menu, all-you-can-eat policies, and tablet ordering system
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently
- Monitor tables and respond to guest needs throughout the meal
- Process payments and handle guest concerns professionally
- Clear, clean, reset, and maintain assigned tables and service areas
- Restock supplies and complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Communicate clearly with hosts, food runners, kitchen staff, and management
- Help teammates when needed, even when the task is outside your assigned section
- Follow food safety, alcohol service, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures
- Take responsibility for mistakes and work toward resolving them

Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced restaurant position. Servers should be prepared to:
- Stand and walk for nearly the entire shift
- Move quickly through a busy dining room
- Carry trays, dishes, beverages, and restaurant supplies
- Frequently bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements

Projected Total Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
