We are currently seeking a Construction Quality Assurance Manager based in Austin, TX, to deliver expert field leadership, rigorous quality oversight, and immediate technical support for our civil, industrial, petrochemical, and concrete projects. Your contribution will be vital to project success as you interpret technical specifications, manage quality control protocols, organize daily operations, mentor personnel on installation standards, and foster a culture of safety and productivity.
Core Responsibilities

Deliver immediate technical support and field supervision by performing site inspections to detect and report any lapses in safety, quality, or project timelines.

Analyze project blueprints and submittals to educate teams on installation techniques that ensure high-quality, safe outcomes.

Manage the creation and implementation of daily work schedules, including the maintenance of production logs, safety briefings, and machinery check-lists.

Supervise the safe utilization of heavy machinery, earthwork operations, and all phases of concrete construction from initial forming to final inspection.

Utilize digital tools and tablets to verify that all work adheres to project specifications and maintain comprehensive quality records.

Track project metrics including material usage, equipment performance, and labor costs while reporting operational challenges to management.

Create and uphold inspection protocols, managing all documentation from the start of the project through final closeout to ensure all corrective actions are addressed.
Required Qualifications

A minimum of 15 years of experience in field leadership or quality assurance roles, such as Superintendent, Foreman, or Concrete Specialist.

Possession of a valid Class B CDL.

Deep expertise in concrete construction processes, ranging from rebar and anchor bolt installation to mass foundations and elevated deck shoring.

Comprehensive understanding of civil construction, including site grading, underground utility installation, and safety compliance.

High level of proficiency in using field layout tools such as builder's levels, transits, and grade lasers, with GPS experience considered a plus.

Demonstrated ability to interpret complex DOT-style plans, technical drawings, and detailed project schedules.
