Homeward Bound Veterinary Services is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or highly experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Urgent Care team.
Our Urgent Care is truly "ER Lite"—offering advanced diagnostics, surgery, hospitalization, oxygen therapy, ultrasound, CT imaging, and complex medical case management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule
Current Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Beginning August 1:
- Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Flexible scheduling available. Full-time and part-time positions considered.
What You'll Do
- Assist doctors with urgent and emergent cases
- Perform venipuncture and catheter placement
- Monitor anesthesia and recover surgical patients
- Assist with advanced surgical procedures
- Perform laboratory diagnostics and patient treatments
- Triage incoming urgent care patients
- Educate clients and communicate treatment plans
- Work closely with a supportive and experienced medical team
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) preferred
- Experienced Veterinary Assistants encouraged to apply
- Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred
- Emergency or urgent care experience is a plus
- Strong technical skills and ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
