Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pet Care Attendant (Dog) to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care and attention to dogs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during their stay or visit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, strong handling skills, and experience in veterinary or pet care environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where animal welfare is the top priority.
Starting Pay: $9.50 *increased based on performance after 90 probation period*
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: Between 2pm – 7pm, Monday – Friday. Saturday 6-9am & 3-6pm. Sunday 6:30-8:30am & 5:30-7:30pm. Position requires a rotational weekend shift.
Job Description:
· Spend time with dogs while in daycare
· Feed/water boarding dogs
· Distribute medication to dogs
· Clean kennels/facility
· Check in/out dogs
· Answer phone calls and process paperwork as needed
Requirements:
· High School or Equivalent Education
· 18 or older
· Be able to work independently or with a team
· Good leadership and critical thinking skills
· Love dogs!
