OPERATIONS ANALYST
Location: Remote (US, Nearshore, or Offshore)
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (Must align fully with US Eastern Time working hours)

Summary Our pharma client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to provide vital Level 2 production and systems support within an enterprise life sciences data ecosystem. In this role, you will diagnose technical glitches, manage integrations, and ensure data flows smoothly across specialized laboratory platforms and data repositories. By using advanced diagnostic tools and modern AI-assisted troubleshooting techniques, you will maintain the operational integrity of critical clinical workflows.
Description – Operations Analyst
- Troubleshoot data and synchronization issues across custom integration platforms, Data Lakes, and laboratory information systems.
- Resolve API, authentication, and system timeout errors to maintain consistent application uptime.
- Provide Elasticsearch catalog support and structure complex queries to remediate search indexing discrepancies.
- Set up QA/UAT test data environments to validate platform changes and bug fixes before production rollout.
- Deliver Level 2 production support by monitoring backend logs, tracking infrastructure health, and documenting incident resolutions.
Qualifications – Operations Analyst
- 3 to 5+ years of experience supporting production data and integration platforms within a regulated or enterprise corporate environment (life sciences or biotech experience highly preferred).
- Strong SQL proficiency across multiple flavors, including SQL Server, AWS Redshift, and PostgreSQL.
- Direct familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) such as Labware, Dotmatics, or Benchling.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting background cron jobs, database sync pipelines, and Elasticsearch indexes.
- Ability to read .NET service architecture logs and systematically trace system exceptions back to their root cause.
- Basic familiarity with infrastructure and deployment tools including AWS EKS, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven competence using log analysis tools like Splunk and standard enterprise ticketing software (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI coding tools (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) to investigate exceptions, read system telemetry, and streamline root-cause analysis safely under established guardrails.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear, actionable technical incident documentation.
