Position Summary
The Remote Preschool Teacher will provide engaging live virtual instruction to preschool students (PK3/PK4) while fostering a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Teachers will guide students through RHPA's professionally designed curriculum, facilitate meaningful learning experiences, and build strong relationships with students and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging live virtual instruction to PK3 and PK4 students.
- Guide students through RHPA's professionally developed daily lessons and activities.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs.
- Monitor student participation, progress, and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
- Collaborate with Community Learning Site Educators supporting students at in-person learning locations.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Maintain student records and documentation in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field preferred.
- Teaching certification preferred but not required for exceptional candidates with relevant experience.
- Experience teaching preschool or early elementary students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Comfortable using Zoom and educational technology.
- Passion for early childhood education and individualized learning.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
