We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Ag Lender who brings real agricultural knowledge and a passion for helping producers succeed. Whether your background comes from farming, ranching, ag business, grain operations, livestock, equipment sales, ag finance, or another agriculture-related field—this opportunity is designed for someone ready to turn their ag roots into a long-term career.
This is more than a desk job. You’ll be out in the community, building relationships, visiting operations, learning directly from experienced lenders, and becoming a trusted resource for local producers and ag businesses.
If you’ve got agriculture in your blood and the motivation to grow professionally, we’ll teach you the banking side.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and managing agricultural lending relationships
- Support underwriting and analysis for operating lines, equipment loans, livestock financing, and ag real estate
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections
- Conduct farm and ranch visits to better understand customer operations
- Help prepare loan presentations and credit requests for approval
- Learn credit structuring, risk analysis, and relationship management from senior lenders
- Attend local ag events, livestock shows, and community functions
- Build strong relationships with producers and become an active part of the community
- Ensure loan files meet policy and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong agricultural background is required
- No banking experience required
- Some financial experience preferred (ag business, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, lending support, equipment sales, crop insurance, etc.)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working both in the office and out in the field
- Passion for rural communities and agriculture
