The Opportunity
This is not a traditional associate role.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Help develop and lead a practice area aligned with your strengths
- Work directly with clients and build meaningful relationships
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the firm
- Participate in business development and thought leadership
- Grow into a leadership or partner-track role
Responsibilities
- Handle matters in estate planning, guardianship, business law, and/or litigation
- Draft and review legal documents (wills, trusts, contracts, pleadings, etc.)
- Represent clients in court proceedings where applicable
- Advise clients with professionalism, empathy, and clarity
- Collaborate on firm growth initiatives and client acquisition strategies
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Maryland (or eligible for admission)
- 2–6 years of experience in at least one of the following:
- Estate Planning / Probate
- Guardianship
- Civil Litigation
- Business / Corporate Law
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Desire to grow professionally and take initiative
