Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and possess a strong background in pediatric speech therapy. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to promote effective communication skills.
Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language skills in pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and specific needs.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate families on techniques to support speech development at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay updated on current research and best practices in speech therapy and early intervention.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques related to speech therapy.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
