Monday-Friday 2:00-7:00PM
Background on Organization: Life Pieces To Masterpieces (LPTM) is a non-profit organization located in the 7th and 8th ward of Washington, D.C. LPTM works to provide opportunities for Black and Brown boys and young men to change challenges into possibilities. Life Pieces To Masterpieces uses artistic expression and our Human Development System to develop character, unlock potential, and prepare Black and Brown boys and young men to transform their lives and communities. Since 1996, we have served more than 1,000 boys and young men, ages 3 to adulthood, and have created more than 1,000 masterpieces.
Job Description: Life Pieces To Masterpieces seeks an energetic, creative, and organized educator to serve as a Part-Time Teacher in our Afterschool and Summer Programs. This role provides programmatic, administrative, and instructional support, including on-site assistance during program hours and serving as a substitute teacher as needed. The Part-time Teacher plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a supportive learning environment for our boys and young men.
