We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Full time General Farm Worker to join our competitive Hunter/Jumper training facility. The candidate needs to know how to currently handle horses, we need someone who can step right into the job.
Experience driving a tractor is not required, but a bonus. Weed whacking and lawn mowing experience is also a bonus.
This role requires physical stamina, the ability to multitask, efficiency, and communication skills. The Farm Laborer will contribute to daily farm operations, ensuring the health and well-being of our horses while maintaining a safe, efficient, and thriving farm environment. Please keep in mind that this job is physical and you must be able to continuously lift heavy objects (especially when cleaning the stalls).
We are required to work regardless of weather conditions.
Tasks are split amongst the workers. One person is not asked to do all of the following in one day.

Duties
- Provide animal care, including leading horses in and out of paddocks, feeding, cleaning stalls, watering, and giving hay
- General horse care duties such as grooming, tacking, untacking, bathing and monitoring their health and behavior, basic first aid
- Maintain the farm’s functionality and aesthetic
- Implement proper animal handling techniques to ensure safety and well-being of team members and animals.
- Utilize weed whackers, and lawn mowers
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Previous experience operating a tractor is a bonus
Requirements
- Previous Equine experience is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care for animals and facility.

Hours: 7:45am-3:00/3:30pm
Days: Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday with the option for 5 days in August
Some holidays required
Must be able to pass a background check.
All candidates will go through a phone interview first and then those who meet the requirements will move on to a two day paid trial. An attached resume that is catered to the position is appreciated.
