Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to infant development
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws by documenting any concerns related to child safety or well-being
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and share best practices in infant care and early childhood education
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or similar childcare setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of child development instruction specific to early childhood stages is essential
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Classroom management skills tailored for infants and toddlers are required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is strongly recommended or required
- Background in early childhood education or related coursework enhances candidacy
