Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure.
Core Azure Expertise
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise Azure cloud solutions.
- Expertise in Azure networking, identity (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD), RBAC, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake Storage, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Logic Apps.
Architecture & Cloud Design
- Deep knowledge of Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Design highly available, multi-region, disaster recovery, and scalable cloud architectures.
- Experience with application modernization, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
Migration & Infrastructure
- Lead Azure migration assessments and cloud transformation projects using Azure Migrate.
- Experience with hybrid cloud solutions (Azure Arc, Azure Stack).
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), ARM Templates, PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
DevOps & Containers
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, Helm, GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD), and containerized workloads.
Security & Governance
- Expertise in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure Policy, and Management Groups.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
Monitoring & Cost Optimization
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and KQL.
- Knowledge of Azure Cost Management, FinOps, Reserved Instances, and cloud cost optimization.
Leadership
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting solutions to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- 9–15 years of IT experience with 5–7 years in Azure and 2–4 years in solution architecture.
- Experience in Windows/Linux, VMware, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience in regulated industries (Government, Healthcare, Financial Services) preferred.

- AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
- AZ-500: Azure Security Engineer Associate
Preferred
- AZ-700: Azure Network Engineer Associate
- SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert

Pay: $75.00 per hour
