Payroll Specialists/Accounts Payable Specialist

Payroll Specialists/Accounts Payable Specialists assists the company with processing payroll, invoicing and billing. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Weekly payroll & processing
- Timecard review, work orders etc.
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Managing Union Dues and Compliance with CPR and DIR reports
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

Duties and Responsibilities:
- 80%-85% of this position is Payroll & Processing
- 15%-20% Billing, accounts payable, office management.
Communication with customers and individuals within various companies. Manage outgoing cash, ensuring vendors are being paid in a timely manner. Verify and produce documents that comply with external governmental guidelines.:
Physical requirements:
· Use computer, mouse, keyboard, and phone for extended periods of time
· Sit or stand for extended periods
· Authorization to work in the United States
· Ability to work at CMC’s office

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 ++ discretionary end of year bonus base on performance.
