We're hiring a full-time Field Service Technician in Fenton, MO to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support copiers, multifunction printers (MFPs), scanners, and network-connected office equipment for commercial customers.
ProSearch is partnering with a leading office technology company to hire an experienced Field Service Technician. This role is ideal for Copier Technicians, Network Copier Installers, Printer Technicians, Network Technicians, IT Support Technicians, Service Technicians, and Hardware Installation Technicians who enjoy travel, customer interaction, and hands-on technical work.
This is an 8–10-week project requiring 70-100% travel, including regional driving, overnight stays, and occasional air travel. A company vehicle is provided for driving assignments, and all approved travel expenses are covered.
What You'll Do
- Install, stage, configure, and test copiers, multifunction printers (MFPs), scanners, managed print devices, and office equipment
- Connect equipment to customer networks and configure network printing, scanning, TCP/IP, DNS, and SMTP
- Install and configure printer drivers, scanning software, and network printing
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
- Train customers on copier, printer, and scanner functionality
- Complete installation documentation and customer sign-offs
- Assist with equipment staging in the Fenton warehouse as needed

OR
Associate degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Systems, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP
- Windows operating systems
- Network-connected printers and multifunction printers (MFPs)
- Hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Mechanical aptitude, specifically equipment installation
- Ability to lift, move, and install office equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to travel 70-100%
- Reside within commuting distance of Fenton, Missouri
Preferred Experience
Experience installing or supporting equipment from Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Sharp, Kyocera, HP, Lexmark, Brother, Toshiba, or Epson is a plus.
This position involves copier installation, printer installation, scanner deployment, managed print services support, network configuration, hardware implementation, and customer-facing technical support for commercial business environments.
