Job Summary
Overview:
Pav-Co Contracting, Inc. is adding an additional crew to our underground utility division. Responsibilities include installing drainage, water, sanitary sewer, gravity, lift stations, and all piping/fittings/connections.
Open Positions:
- Pipe Foreman
- Pipe Layers
- Loader/Operators
- Pipe Laborers
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and backhoes to assist with excavation, lifting, and material handling tasks
- Perform utility locating to identify underground cables and pipes, ensuring safe excavation practices.
- Use hand tools for assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair work on various construction components
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in utility operations is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, and climbing ladders or structures safely
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and utility work is essential.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and safety reporting
- A valid drivers license and clean 7-year driving record is preferred but not required
Pay:
Hourly crew members: $20 - $28 per hour, based on experience
Foreman: $1,800+ per week, based on experience
