How You Will Make an Impact:

Review, manage, and process schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontracts to keep field operations running smoothly.
- Analyze detailed blueprints, project plans, and specifications utilizing Bluebeam and Procore software platforms.
- Collaborate directly with project managers, field superintendents, and public agency representatives to resolve plan discrepancies.
- Support scheduling and project planning efforts
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year of progressive project engineering experience in public works or federal construction.
- Experience with or ability to comfortably prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and plan reading.
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with developing and processing change orders.
- Familiarity or working proficiency with Procore, and Bluebeam software.
- Fundamental understanding of public works and prevailing wage guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a highly coachable mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of progressive project engineering experience in public works or federal construction.
- OSHA 30
