Position Summary
The Full-Time Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary conditions within assigned commercial facilities. Work areas may include building entrances, reception areas, offices, hallways, conference rooms, break rooms, and restrooms.
All responsibilities must be performed in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards. Specific duties, locations, and schedules may vary depending on operational needs, site coverage, employee experience, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Follow cleaning procedures and instructions for assigned facilities
- Complete assigned tasks within established schedules and timeframes
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and microfiber systems
- Use approved cleaning chemicals and solutions according to guidelines
- Perform routine cleaning tasks on daily, weekly, or scheduled rotations
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Sweep and mop hard surface floors
- Dust furniture, surfaces, vents, blinds, window sills, plants, and light fixtures
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles, replace liners, and clean containers as needed
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including phones and shared equipment
- Spot clean glass, mirrors, and interior doors
- Remove smudges and fingerprints from walls, doors, and other vertical surfaces
- Clean and polish chrome, stainless steel, sinks, faucets, and fixtures
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, and counters
- Replenish paper products, soap, lotion, and feminine hygiene supplies
- Respond promptly and professionally to work orders or service requests
- Follow company policies related to safety, security, uniforms, and timekeeping
- Maintain proper use and awareness of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed primarily in commercial office buildings, medical and dental facilities, and educational environments
- Trash removal may be required outdoors in varying weather conditions
- The position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and reaching required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods during shifts
- Normal vision and hearing required
Compensation
Pay Range: $15–$17 per hour

- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

- Strong attention to detail while maintaining efficiency
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crouching
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable personal transportation required

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
