Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Specialist, scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026. This is a year-round role operating on a 239-day school work calendar.
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for assisting in all Human Resources functions, including but not limited to compliance, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and off-boarding of all employee groups. The person in this position is also responsible for retention, satisfaction, and productivity to assist in ensuring that the department runs efficiently and with high levels of customer service.
Applicants should hold the following education/experience qualifications:

Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business management, or other relevant field.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in the role of Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, or Coordinator.

Experience working in the education setting (preferred).

Experience working with Skyward and Red Rover (preferred).

Familiarity with HR processes and programs.
-
Ability to present and produce documents at a high level of sophistication.

Ability to make rational decisions, problem-solve and effectuate change.

Ability to establish and maintain a collegial relationship with all departments.

Must possess knowledge of the state and federal laws related to human resources.

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be used to meet the qualifications requirements.
