Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items swiftly and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Manage food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and workstations through regular bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail sales transaction experience is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to keep pace during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Customer service-oriented attitude with effective communication skills
- Experience with food industry standards, including serving, bussing, and operating kitchen equipment
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is advantageous
